One thing Brochi Farms does offer long terms/payments.
We understand paying the full price upfront does keep people from the cost of their dream horse. We will try our best to accommodate those who aspire for their dreams.
Here is some info on our fixed terms:
20% non refundable retainer at the signing of the contract.
The horse stays on the property until paid in full.
Board applies at $150 a month. This covers the cost of feed. (Not applicable for unweaned foals.)
All maintenance costs are the responsibility of the buyer. This includes the farrier every six weeks ($40), wormings, and any shots. (Not applicable for unweaned foals)
Any medical expenses are also the responsibility of the buyer. I try to keep everyone safe and happy but horses will be horses.
Mortality insurance needs to be purchased. I do have recommendations if needed.
Negotiable terms:
Duration and payment amounts are negotiable. I'm not looking at a max. monthly amount but what you can comfortably pay every month. Id rather you make the payment than to default.
You are more than welcome to come out to the property and see him/her... Its just like boarding. Just a whole lot cheaper!
If you have your own farrier that is fine as long as it gets done.
I live by the golden rule. Treat others as you would like to be treated. That goes into everything that I do.
Example: $10,000 gelding. - $2,000 deposit = $8,000 on payments
over 12 months would be $670 month.
